A volcano is a mountain formed through an opening

A volcano is a mountain formed through an opening on the Earth’s surface and pushes out lava and rock fragments through that. A volcano can be defined as an opening in a planet through which lava, gases, and molten rock come out. There are mainly three types of volcanoes: active, dormant, and extinct. Some eruptions are explosive, and some happen as slow-flowing lava. Volcanic eruptions can be dangerous and may lead to loss of life, damaging the environment. Lava ejected from a volcano can be fluid, viscous, and may take up different shapes.

The objective of teaching about volcanoes to NURSERY students is to introduce them to basic earth science concepts in a fun and age-appropriate way. Focus on sparking their curiosity, explaining simple volcanic processes, and fostering an early interest in science and nature.

India celebrates Republic Day on January 26 annually with a lot of pride and fervor. It is a day that is important to every Indian citizen. It marks the day when India became truly independent and embraced democracy. In other words, it celebrates the day on which our constitution came into effect. On 26 January 1950, almost 3 years post-independence, we became a sovereign, secular, socialist, democratic republic.
To commemorate the day India formally adopted the constitution and became the Independent Republic, a military parade is held in the national capital, New Delhi, which demonstrates the country's military might and its rich cultural heritage. To showcase the diverse and unique culture of India, several beautiful tableaux designed by various Ministries of India are exhibited during the R-Day parade on the Rajpath.
The Constitution is not a mere document; it is a beacon that guides us towards a brighter, democratic future. Let's celebrate the unity in diversity that defines our great nation. Happy Republic Day to one and all!"

Subhas Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist whose contribution to Indian independence and development is incomparable. He was a freedom fighter and was deeply influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. His views as a freedom fighter were very different from those of Mahatma Gandhi. Netaji was a part of the Non-Cooperation Movement led by Gandhiji.

Bose is best known for his radical approach to gaining independence, advocating for complete self-rule and not ruling out the use of force.

Freedom to exploration and trusting children with the materials was a game changer. Sitting in Cris- cross position made grounded, confident and hands on experience. Collaborative team work, socialising and interaction were the highlights of this activity. The sense of holistic development starts when all the elements are implemented through activities for children to learn together. It’s an era, where the importance of socialising is fading.

”The shopkeepers game, a game changer”

In every house there will be one grandma or grandpa who secretly gives you the extra money to buy chocolates or candy or chips or movie or tamarind candy or stickers (GiGO) or toy or car and the list goes on…….., the story begins as we would try to spend little and save for next purchase. From time to time, we would look for a friend or cousin or siblings or aunty or uncle to negotiate and double the money. A solicitous act by ancestors who taught us the value savings and investment.

These experiences have been joyous and contemplating that has helped each one of us to understand the value of money. The motive was to infuse in nursery children the basic concept of money, the shopkeepers game is the one which brought all the excitement, enthusiasm, confidence and pride of shopping.
